Deloitte 1700 Market St Suite 2700
Philadelphia, PA 19103

A free event for Global Philadelphia members to get to know the candidates for the upcoming city council nomination. Each candidate will be given a few moments to speak to the audience about their campaign. The goal of this event is to specifically engage with the international sector of the voters. Special attention will be given to topics of global awareness in Philadelphia, with an emphasis on the ways in which candidates would leverage Philadelphia's World Heritage City Status to best position our region on the world stage.
Designed to encourage Philadelphia’s city council candidates to think globally as they prepare for their time in office, Global Philadelphia will give the candidates the opportunity to address the international audience and share their vision for a global city.

The event is co-chaired by Harold Yaffee, Board member at Global Philadelphia Assoc., and former Mayor Michael Nutter – with special guest Denise Nakano, of KYW Newsradio, as the emcee for the evening. Please join us for this one-of-a-kind event. Our event is complimentary to attend, but registration is required. Invitation is non-transferable.
