https://wmchapel.org/ Washington Memorial National Carillon ranks as one of the world's largest and most beautiful carillons. Its 58 tuned bronzed bells, representing all US states and territories, weigh a total of 26 tons, from the largest bell of 8,000 lbs. to the smallest bell of 13.5 lbs. They cover a range of nearly five octaves. The 110 ft. tall tower and carillon were completed in 1953 with funds raised by the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. The Carillon is played every Sunday morning at 9:30 and approximately 11:30am, and each Sunday afternoon in April, May, June, September, October, and November at 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30pm. Guest carillonneurs from Europe and North America perform every Wednesday evening at 7:30pm during July and August in the Frank P. Law Summer Carillon Series.
