Our students learn not just in the classroom, but out in the world through exploration and adventure. We believe in the power of language education to build connections, forge opportunities and enrich lives. We offer English, French and German courses in spectacular locations across the world. 

Under the leadership of Dr. Julie Mostov, Vice Provost for Global Initiatives, The Office of International Programs, brings leadership, strategic coordination, and institutional structure to the global dimension of Drexel University. The OIP facilitates multidisciplinary international programs across the university by bringing together stakeholders in a Council of International Programs. It enhances the international education of Drexel’s colleges and other academic units through partnerships with carefully selected international universities, and promotes global awareness and visibility through a Global Research and Academic Network (GRAND), International Travel Awards for faculty and graduate students, and student programming.

Drexel University’s Department of Global Studies and Modern Languages builds on a foundation of teaching, experiential learning and collaboration across diverse disciplines in the humanities, natural and social sciences. Global Studies majors receive both depth —through one concentration and one language minor— and breadth —through a wide range of classes they can choose from at the university.
