Global Philadelphia Association (GPA) unveils new sustainable development goals exposition at the Philadelphia International Airport, Showcasing GPA's Work Towards and the History of Their SDG Campaign

WHAT: Global Philadelphia Association (GPA) partners with the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) to officially announce the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Expo stationed between Terminals B and C. GPA leaders and the PHL’s CEO will present the expo and discuss how the exhibit will impact travelers visiting and departing the terminal. The expo features SDG graphics, murals from GPA’s campaign, and televised interviews with artists and organizations who have contributed to the campaign.

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals are a call for action set forth by the United Nations for all countries – poor, rich, and middle-income – to promote prosperity while protecting the planet. They recognize that ending poverty must go hand-in-hand with strategies that build economic growth and address a range of social needs including education, health, social protection, and job opportunities while tackling climate change and environmental protection.
