http://www.inht.org Independence Historical Trust is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization which was created in 1972 with the intent to not only help Independence National Historical Park gear up for the Bicentennial of the United States in 1976 but to become a partner with the park to help in the growth and development.
Today, the purposes of the corporation are to raise funds to fulfil the mission of Independence National Historical Park and to promote its historical, scientific, educational and interpretive activities. We complete this goal by raising funds for the preservation of our nation’s historic buildings, conserve national treasurers through our Adopt an Artifact program and provide free educational walking tours for the visitors who travel to visit the national park.
