Chinatown Learning Center is committed to supporting the Asian-American community of Philadelphia by providing quality bilingual education and care to pre-school children
providing quality quality after-school and extra-curricular enrichment programs to school-age children offering resources and support to help parents with limited English proficiency gain access to services that benefit their families.
The Chinatown Learning Center is a bilingual preschool and pre-kindergarten program in the heart of Philadelphia’'s Chinatown community. They receive each child as an individual of great personal worth and potential and relate to each child with love and respect. They aim to give each child the opportunity to grow emotionally, intellectually, socially, and physically, by providing an educational program that :
- promotes each child’'s potential
- encourages creativity
- teaches respect for people and property
- helps develop initiative and independence
- helps build an appreciation of different cultures
- introduces children’s literature through storytelling and related activities.
