Penn Global provides strategic direction for Penn’s global endeavors with a focus on efficient investment of university resources for global activities. Penn Global collaborates with Schools and Center across the University and seeks to catalyze cross-school collaborations to integrate knowledge that addresses key issues. We partner with leaders from Penn and around the world to develop innovative interdisciplinary global strategies, initiatives and programs.

In addition, Penn Global provides important services in support of University endeavors, including academic year study abroad, immigration services for international students and operational and compliance support for international projects. The three reporting offices arePenn Abroad, International Student and Scholar Services, and Global Support Services

Penn Global also manages the Global Engagement Fund, Penn’s Global Information System, and international agreements with partner institutions.

The Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz and Performing Arts

The Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz and Performing Arts (PCC) mission is to “celebrate and preserve the legacy of jazz through accessible education for the Greater Philadelphia region, and to support the evolving art form through talent development, programming, and public performance.”

The Philadelphia Clef Club operates in four distinct lines of business: music education, performance events, a membership program and facility rentals.

Johnson House Historic Site

Johnson House Historic Site, a Center for Social Advocacy (CSA) an Underground Railroad stop and historic house museum that represents what everyday people have done and can do to make a difference in their community and beyond. Our example of partnership—between Africans seeking freedom and the “infidel” abolitionist Johnson family—serves as a catalyst to inspire, uplift, and empower current and future generations. We accomplish our goals by creating interactive educational opportunities, fostering community initiatives, and preserving the historic integrity of the house, grounds, and outlier buildings.

Tourism Diversity Matters

Tourism Diversity Matters (TDM), founded as the collaborative leader of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives and concepts that can address the gaps of ethnic disparities and provide decision-makers in the tourism and events industry access, resources, and tactics to develop more effective Diversity & Inclusion strategies that will engage and retain a diverse workforce.
