Since 1989, Penn Language Center (PLC) strengthens Penn’s language education and consistently supports the development of language professionals. In particular, PLC focuses on current trends in online instruction and teaching from within the National Standards.

The center remains committed to its structural flexibility enabling its staff to respond quickly to changing demands for language instruction in a variety of languages that are not offered within the typical programs of established departments.

PLC encourages dynamic and diversified language education with an emphasis on multilingual and transcultural competence that in turn imbue both the curriculum and the research effort of the academic community.

Neumann University

Founded in 1965, Neumann is a private, Catholic university in the Franciscan tradition, which emphasizes:

The Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz and Performing Arts

The Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz and Performing Arts (PCC) mission is to “celebrate and preserve the legacy of jazz through accessible education for the Greater Philadelphia region, and to support the evolving art form through talent development, programming, and public performance.”

The Philadelphia Clef Club operates in four distinct lines of business: music education, performance events, a membership program and facility rentals.

Johnson House Historic Site

Johnson House Historic Site, a Center for Social Advocacy (CSA) an Underground Railroad stop and historic house museum that represents what everyday people have done and can do to make a difference in their community and beyond. Our example of partnership—between Africans seeking freedom and the “infidel” abolitionist Johnson family—serves as a catalyst to inspire, uplift, and empower current and future generations. We accomplish our goals by creating interactive educational opportunities, fostering community initiatives, and preserving the historic integrity of the house, grounds, and outlier buildings.

Tourism Diversity Matters

Tourism Diversity Matters (TDM), founded as the collaborative leader of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives and concepts that can address the gaps of ethnic disparities and provide decision-makers in the tourism and events industry access, resources, and tactics to develop more effective Diversity & Inclusion strategies that will engage and retain a diverse workforce.
