Philadelphia-Serengeti Alliance

The Philadelphia-Serengeti Alliance (PSA) invites you to participate in our debut fundraiser, “The Top of the Hop,” to be held on Saturday evening, October 19, 2013, top floor of Hopkinson House on Washington Square, Philadelphia, PA. We are planning a wonderful evening of African food and music, with over twenty raffle items that have been donated by Philadelphia businesses and individuals — all overlooking a fantastic view of Center City and the Delaware! PSA is an all-volunteer organization officially established in 2012.

Our focus is the development of water resources in poor areas in and around the Serengeti District of Tanzania. Water is the most critical need in these areas, and has far-reaching impacts on health, economic development, and the lives of women and girls who carry water from distant sources. Our organization is working with Parliament members in Tanzania, technical experts and others to build wells and bring about much-needed changes.
