The Philadelphia region is home to hundreds of non-profit organizations, civic and professional associations, and public agencies dedicated to connecting the region to the rest of the world and enhancing its international reputation.  

Whether it's an international development agency working on behalf of women's rights in Afghanistan or teaching sustainable agricultural techniques in Africa, an association of citizens organized in support of the goals of the United Nations, a chapter of the International Visitors Council dedicated to citizen diplomacy, or a chamber of commerce focused on promoting business ties with South America, you can find it here.

As part of the recent strategic planning process and as a first step in the Middle States self-study, the boards of Girard College have approved a revision to the school’s mission statement:
 Glencairn, built between 1928 and 1939 in Bryn Athyn, Pennsylvania, was once the home of Raymond and Mildred (Glenn) Pitcairn and their children. The building now serves as a museum of religious art and history. Glencairn Museum invites a diverse audience to engage with religious beliefs and practices, past and present, by exploring art, artifacts, and other cultural expressions of faith. 
Global Citizen is non-partisan organization dedicated to promoting civic engagement, community volunteering, civic responsibility, and sustained active citizenship among diverse groups, particularly young people. Global Citizen promotes democracy building, voter education and participation, locally and globally. We bring together people of all ages and backgrounds to build diverse partnerships through serving others, thus realizing how much more we have in common than our difference.
The Great Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce (GVRCC) represents and serves the business community of Great Valley located along the Route 202 Corridor from King of Prussia to Exton. We support and promote business and economic development in Great Valley making this region an ideal area to live, work and invest.
The Greater Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce (GNPPC) brings small and large businesses together to network, develop and improve business relationships. The Chamber represents business and professional interests before elected bodies, serves as a catalyst for growth and promotes the area's residential and commercial assets. The Chamber provides its members with group health and dental insurance.
The Greater Philadelphia Asian Social Service Center (GPASS) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, based in the Olney/Logan area, is dedicated to providing assistance to residents citywide, connecting people with needed resources and information, bridging the cultural and language gap, strengthening families, enriching lives, and sustaining communities. The GPCC is the premier advocate of the region’s business community, representing members in 11 counties across three states with one voice. The Chamber is dedicated to promoting regional economic growth, advancing business-friendly public policies, and servicing our members through outstanding programs, benefits and services.
Our Mission The Greater Philadelphia Extracurricular Collaborative’s (GPEC) mission is to support improved social, academic, physical, and behavioral outcomes for children, by working with a broad coalition of critical stakeholders to improve the quality and reach of the out-of-school time and extracurricular ecosystem in the Greater Philadelphia region.  Our multidimensional effort incorporates education supplements, workforce development, and family support so that children reap benefits across every part of their lives.
The Greater Philadelphia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GPHCC) is a not-for-profit organization devoted to promoting the advancement and economic growth of Hispanic businesses and professionals in the greater Philadelphia region. We accomplish this through educational programs, and a broad range of services and special events.

Independence Historical Trust  is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization which was created in 1972 with the intent to not only help Independence National Historical Park gear up for the Bicentennial of the United States in 1976 but to become a partner with the park to help in the growth and development.
