The Philadelphia region is home to hundreds of non-profit organizations, civic and professional associations, and public agencies dedicated to connecting the region to the rest of the world and enhancing its international reputation.  

Whether it's an international development agency working on behalf of women's rights in Afghanistan or teaching sustainable agricultural techniques in Africa, an association of citizens organized in support of the goals of the United Nations, a chapter of the International Visitors Council dedicated to citizen diplomacy, or a chamber of commerce focused on promoting business ties with South America, you can find it here.

Founded in 1884 by Dr. Russell Conwell, Temple College became Temple University in 1907 and has evolved into a comprehensive urban research and academic institution.

The Barnes Foundation was established by Albert C. The Center for Architecture performs the charitable and educational work of American Institute of Architects (AIA) Philadelphia and serves as the physical home for the Chapter in Center City Philadelphia.

The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), popularly known as the Hare Krishna movement, is a nonsectarian worldwide association dedicated to propagating love of God through the YOGA practice of chanting the holy names of the Lord--"Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare/ Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare" -- devotees purify their consciousness and develop their relationship with Krishna, the supreme Lord.
The Foundation, named for the Revolutionary War hero Thaddeus Kosciuszko, is a not-for-profit organization based in New York City. It was established in 1925 to encourage and promote the study of Polish culture, history, language, and tradition in the United States. It is the Foundation's objective to foster among Americans of Polish ancestry a deeper understanding of their cultural heritage, thereby enriching the pluralistic culture and traditions of the United States of America. 
The Barry and Marie Lipman Family Prize is made possible through a generous gift from Barry and Marie Lipman, and reflects their own strong commitment to socially responsible organizations and action. A leader in scientific discovery, the Monell Chemical Senses Center expands our fundamental understanding of taste and smell – the chemical senses – through research, training, and communication. America's finest museum of medical history, the Mütter displays its beautifully preserved collections of anatomical specimens, models, and medical instruments in a 19th century "cabinet museum" setting. The goal of the Museum is to help the public understand the mysteries and beauty of the human body while appreciating the history of diagnosis and treatment of disease.
The Marian Anderson Historical Residence Museum is the Epi-Center for the Life and Legacy of Marian Anderson. The understated exterior of the 19th century, 3-story Marian Anderson House at 762 South Martin Street (Marian Anderson Way, in-between 19th & 20th & Fitzwater Street in Center City West Rittenhouse Square District) bears a plaque from the Philadelphia Historical Commission.
Located in Langhorne, PA, The Peace Center designs programming to help reduce violence and conflict in schools, homes and communities through a multicultural, community-based approach. The Center is dedicated to furthering peace by understanding and managing conflict  at the community, national and global levels.

The Tesla Science Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the life, legacy and scientific innovations of Nikola Tesla. Having successfully hosted numerous lectures, seminars, forums - to include the annual Energy Independence Conference and Tesla Memorial Conference - the Foundation is the most active Tesla related organization in the United States today.
The Tibetan Association of Philadelphia is a non-profit organization of Tibetans in the State of Pennsylvania. It strives to preserve and promote the unique Tibetan Cultural, Tradition, Language within the Tibetan Community and further the just cause of Tibet. The Tibetan Association is committed to the principle of non-violence and considers His Holiness the Dalai Lama as the Spiritual leader of Tibet. It recognizes the Tibetan Government in Exile, based in India, as the legitimate government of Tibet.

The United African Educational Foundation (UAEF) is a nonprofit, charitable organization with the aim of addressing more directly the educational needs and aspirations of school children of African descent in the United States and other parts of the world. As part of the educational outreach, UAEF produces and publishes a series of African fables and folktales in the form of children’s books, as well as other forms of learning material and educational services. We believe that investing in the productive education of our children is the smart way of investing in our future. To this end, UAEF is firmly about the business of lifting the minds and aspirations of our young that they may lift our world to a perfect humanity.
United Ukrainian American Relief Committee, Inc. (UUARC) was founded in 1944 to help those in need. Since its beginning, UUARC has endeavored to provide aid where the need is the greatest. It provided help to many thousands of refugees who came to the United States after World War II, as well as assisted countless Ukrainians throughout the world.
