The Philadelphia region is home to hundreds of non-profit organizations, civic and professional associations, and public agencies dedicated to connecting the region to the rest of the world and enhancing its international reputation.  

Whether it's an international development agency working on behalf of women's rights in Afghanistan or teaching sustainable agricultural techniques in Africa, an association of citizens organized in support of the goals of the United Nations, a chapter of the International Visitors Council dedicated to citizen diplomacy, or a chamber of commerce focused on promoting business ties with South America, you can find it here.

German-American Chamber of Commerce of Philadelphia (GACC)
The mission of the German-American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. – Philadelphia is to promote the development of trade and investment opportunities between the U.S. and Germany. Global Education Motivators (GEM)

Global Water Alliance (formally The Philadelphia Global Water Initiative) is a group of interested organizations and individuals committed to helping to meet the UN Millennium Development Goals for water/sanitation throughout the world.

Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance (GPCA)
The GPCA is the region's premier leadership, advocacy, and audience development organization for arts and culture.
Harmony for Peace Foundation
The Harmony for Peace Foundation, www.harmonyforpeace.org, seeks to promote cross-cultural understanding through the arts, in particular music, serving as a bridge among nations to promote mutual respect and a common path to world peace. Through performances, exhibitions, events and advocacy they stand for a united voice of reason against nuclear proliferation across the globe.
HIAS Pennsylvania
HIAS Pennsylvania, Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, is committed to the Jewish prinicple of welcoming the stranger. They work to welcome immigrants to the community and ensure that they are safe and that their rights are respected. Among the programs HIAS offers to immigrants are legal counseling and representation, social services including citizenship and refugee resettlement, and immigration-related advocacy and education.
Historical Society of Pennsylvania (HSP)
Founded in 1824 in Philadelphia, the Historical Society of Pennsylvania inspires people to create a better future through historical understanding. One of the oldest historical societies in the United States, it is home to some 600,000 printed items and more than 21 million manuscript and graphic items.
Honorary Consulate, Kingdom of the Netherlands
The Netherlands and the United States have shared trade relations for over 400 years, making the economic ties between our two nations older than America!  Yearly about $60 billion in US merchandise and services are exported to the Netherlands. Texas, California, Louisiana, Illinois and Washington are the top exporters to the Netherlands. 
Iacocca Institute
The Iacocca Institute leads innovative programs that combine immersion in an extremely diverse living community with learning experiences in entrepreneurship, leadership and more. We offer year-round online and summer residential programs for adults and high school students from the United States and around the world and we design custom programs for partner organizations.
Independence Charter School
Independence Charter School (ICS) is a community-oriented public K-8 charter school located in Center City Philadelphia.
Independence Historical Trust
Independence Historical Trust  is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization which was created in 1972 with the intent to not only help Independence National Historical Park gear up for the Bicentennial of the United States in 1976 but to become a partner with the park to help in the growth and development.
Independence Seaport Museum
The Independence Seaport Museum allows visitors to discover Philadelphia’s river of history and world of connections through the exploration of award-winning exhibits and two historic ships, Cruiser Olympia and Submarine Becuna.
Interfaith Philadelphia

International House Philadelphia (IHP)

International Opera Theater of Philadelphia
