Organizations

The Philadelphia region is home to hundreds of non-profit organizations, civic and professional associations, and public agencies dedicated to connecting the region to the rest of the world and enhancing its international reputation.  

Whether it's an international development agency working on behalf of women's rights in Afghanistan or teaching sustainable agricultural techniques in Africa, an association of citizens organized in support of the goals of the United Nations, a chapter of the International Visitors Council dedicated to citizen diplomacy, or a chamber of commerce focused on promoting business ties with South America, you can find it here.

Keswick Theatre
The Keswick Theatre first opened its doors on Christmas Night, 1928. Nationally recognized as the most comfortable, acoustically perfect listening room in the entire Philadelphia market, the Keswick was designed by acclaimed architect Horace Trumbauer (who also created the Philadelphia Museum of Art!).
Korean Cultural Foundation
Korean Cultural Foundation (KCul) is a 501(c) nonprofit organization with individual and corporate members who loves the Korean culture and heritage. We believe that culture engages and inspires people to transcend boundaries. The connecting power of culture is essential for creating open, inclusice and multi-cultural societies, and as such is invaluable for building Asian-American.
Lehigh University
Lehigh University is an American private research university located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. It was established in 1865 by businessman Asa Packer and has grown to include studies in a wide variety of disciplines. Its undergraduate programs have been coeducational since the 1971–72 academic year.

Main Line Chinese Culture Center (MLCCC)
Established in 2003, the Main Line Chinese Culture Center, Inc (MLCCC or Ming Lang) is a nonprofit-501c3, nonpartisan, nonpolitical organization that serves as a catalyst to increase understanding between American and Chinese cultures. The MLCCC's mission is to provide compelling insights of China's culture to interested families within the greater Philadelphia area in order to support their educational needs and career aspirations. By the end of 2013, the vision for the group is to grow its operations such that its diversified sources of funding will enable the organization to secure its own site facility, full-time staff, and financial self-sufficiency that will lead to the most effective Chinese cultural education instruction within the state of Pennsylvania.  
Mexican Cultural Center
The Mexican Cultural Center (MCC) is the proud producer of Philadelphia’s official annual Mexican Independence Day Festival each September at Penn’s Landing. This event attracts upwards of 20,000 people and is the most successful of the Summer Series. The MCC celebrates and promotes Mexican culture through annual programming including Cinco De Mayo and Día de los Muertos events. Mexican Cultural Center events have included lectures about Mexican history, culture and traditions. Also there are music performances including popular, opera and folk by Mexican singers, pianist, chamber orchestra as well as Mexican dance performances like folkloric, and Aztec groups, cinematography, and others.
Mid-Atlantic - Eurasia Business Council (MAEBC/MARBC)
Since 1994 the Mid-Atlantic - Eurasia Business Council (MAEBC/MARBC) has worked to foster business relations between Eurasia/Russia and the U.S. Mid-Atlantic region, while cultivating mutual appreciation of political, economic, cultural, and educational interests. 
Mid-Atlantic Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
The Mid-Atlantic Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (MAHCC) is one of the most active business organizations in the Mid Atlantic region. They represent small businesses in general and women, veteran and minority businesses in particular, as well as to promote economic, workforce and community development in the Nation’s Capital and throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region.
Middle East Center at the University of Pennsylvania
The Middle East Center is in a privileged position where their meeting point houses different disciplines, departments, and constituents, allowing them to facilitate learning and research opportunities. Among many other services, the organization offers faculty and students fellowships and grants, such as Foreign Language and Area Studies (Title VI) fellowships. The Middle East Center also organizes activities for faculty and students in the form of hands-on experiences such as field trips (locally and overseas). The organization also offers affiliated visiting scholars the chance to use the University's libraries, with over 50,000 holdings on the Middle East, and its museum, which holds the largest collection on a campus in the US.

Mural Arts Program
The City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program unites artists and communities through a collaborative process, rooted in the traditions of mural-making, to create art that transforms public spaces and individual lives. 
National Board of Medical Examiners® (NBME®)
Founded in 1915, the National Board of Medical Examiners® (NBME®) is an independent, not-for-profit organization that serves the public through its high- quality assessments of healthcare professionals.
National Constitution Center (NCC)
Located on Independence Mall, the National Constitution Center brings the U.S. Constitution to life for the whole family through multimedia exhibitions, live performances, timely public programs and dynamic educational resources. As America's first and only nonpartisan, nonprofit institution devoted to the Constitution, the Center illuminates constitutional ideals and inspires acts of citizenship.
National Hispanic Institute
NHI’s premise has always been clear and straightforward. A population that will soon become 1 in 5 Americans by 2050 must have a sustainable human talent pipeline of highly skilled, creative, and socially developed leaders able to influence the direction of its own community’s future. A talent pool with the desire and ability to contribute towards the benefit of society as a whole. In preparing for these changes, NHI also realizes that old solutions to strident and complex human challenges are no longer viable. What is required is an institutional framework and structure allowing for a new era of future Latino leaders to replace deficit community views with an asset understanding of themselves and the community that bolsters self-confidence, uplifts the spirit, and provides the tools and means for self-change and self-growth.
