The Philadelphia region is home to hundreds of non-profit organizations, civic and professional associations, and public agencies dedicated to connecting the region to the rest of the world and enhancing its international reputation.  

Whether it's an international development agency working on behalf of women's rights in Afghanistan or teaching sustainable agricultural techniques in Africa, an association of citizens organized in support of the goals of the United Nations, a chapter of the International Visitors Council dedicated to citizen diplomacy, or a chamber of commerce focused on promoting business ties with South America, you can find it here.

Philadelphia Fashion Incubator
Philadelphia International Medicine (PIM)
PIM links patients, leading physicians, and healthcare professionals from around the world to a comprehensive network of medical treatment, medical education and healthcare management services. PIM's mission is to: assist international patients seeking high quality, cost-effective medical care; create partnerships with leading international hospitals in areas of training, research and staff development; and seek opportunities to improve healthcare abroad through consulting and hospital management.
Philadelphia Youth Cultural, PTA
PTA is the largest volunteer child advocacy organization in the United States. A not-for-profit association of parents, educators, students, and other citizens active in their schools and communities, PTA is a leader in reminding our nation of its obligations to children. The Pennsylvania PTA represents a diverse membership and is comprised of members who are actively involved in providing children and youth with various programs and advocating on their behalf.
Philadelphia Zoo
The Philadelphia Zoo, America’s first zoo, sits on a 42-acre Victorian garden and is home to more than 1,300 rare and endangered animals from around the world. The Zoo, fulfilling its mission of conservation, science, education and recreation, supports and engages in conservation efforts to protect endangered species around the world. Cheetahs, hippos, giraffes and much more make the Zoo Philadelphia's leading family attraction.

Philadelphia250 is the organization coordinating the United States’ 250th anniversary in Philadelphia. We believe that 2026 is a galvanizing moment for our city and our country. We’re using that moment to ignite the passions of Philadelphians with the revolutionary spirit of the Declaration of Independence—to create a commemoration that is truly by the people, for the people. In 2026 we invite the world to partake in a celebration of our diverse passions, interests, cultures and creativity. Our goals include:

Project for Nuclear Awareness (PNA)
The Project for Nuclear Awareness (PNA) seeks to end the global threat of nuclear weapons by educating the public and lawmakers about the dangers of nuclear weapons, the need for nuclear disarmament, and the urgent necessity of nuclear non-proliferation.

Rough Cut Productions
Rough Cut Productions is a collaborative media production team handling all aspects of media creation with a significant focus upon video production. Rough Cut was founded by Douglas Herman- Director of media studies at Science Leadership Academy in 2009, and has been providing professional media services for the greater Philadelphia area ever since.
Samaritans at last
The vision of Samaritans-At-Last Personal Care Program is to serve Chester County PA and Delaware County PA by caring for individuals in the most home-like environment possible, given their preference and based on their particular needs. Our Program provides support services to elders with daily living needs to remain at home in their communities.
Samuel Fels Fund
The Samuel S. Fels Fund is a private independent foundation with a commitment to improving conditions and opportunities for communities that are marginalized within the City of Philadelphia. We provide grants to support services, advocacy and activities that move us towards a more socially, racially and economically just society.
Save Our Sites
Save our sites will advocate for the preservation of sites and structures within the City of Philadelphia deemed valuable. These sites include historic ones, though they may not always be certified or in historic districts.
Select Greater Philadelphia
Select Greater Philadelphia (Select) is an economic development marketing organization dedicated to attracting companies to Greater Philadelphia. Select assists companies interested in the region by providing detailed information about the 11-county area.
Shofuso Japanese House and Garden
Shofuso Japanese House and Garden, a traditional-style Japanese house and garden reflects the history of Japanese culture in Philadelphia, from the 1876 Centennial Exposition to the installation of its contemporary paintings in 2007. Shofuso was built in Japan in 1953 using traditional techniques and materials and exhibited in the courtyard at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. It was moved to Philadelphia in 1958, to the site of several previous Japanese structures and gardens dating to the 1876 Centennial Exposition.
South Asia Center of the University of Pennsylvania
 The South Asia Center at the University of Pennsylvania coordinates faculty and students drawn from many departments and several schools who develop and participate in community and campus-wide programs and activities pertaining to South Asia. The organization works in consonance with the Department of South Asia Studies and the Graduate Group in South Asia Regional Studies and provides outreach activities to K-12 teachers and students in surrounding communities.  
Springside Chestnut Hill Academy
Springside Chestnut Hill Academy was formed by the 2010 merger between all-girls Springside School and all-boys Chestnut Hill Academy, private Pre-K–12 schools on adjacent campuses.
Studio Incamminati
Studio Incamminati exists to meet the express needs of students eager to learn the aesthetic and philosophical techniques and principles of humanist realism. Modeled on the traditional Italian accademia and French atelier, Studio Incamminati provides a dynamic teaching program to produce highly skilled artists who can call upon their abilities to create art with depth of purpose.
Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce - Philadelphia (SACC)
SACC-Philadelphia was founded in 1999 as a non-profit member organization serving the Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and Delaware region. Our mission is to encourage and promote an exchange of technology, trade and culture between Scandinavia and the Greater Philadelphia regions, while providing members with a spectrum of services and social events.
Team Pennsylvania Foundation
Team Pennsylvania Foundation is a non-partisan charitable non-profit created in 1997 to bridge the gap between government and the private sector and allow both sides to partner for the betterment of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
