The Philadelphia region is home to hundreds of non-profit organizations, civic and professional associations, and public agencies dedicated to connecting the region to the rest of the world and enhancing its international reputation.  

Whether it's an international development agency working on behalf of women's rights in Afghanistan or teaching sustainable agricultural techniques in Africa, an association of citizens organized in support of the goals of the United Nations, a chapter of the International Visitors Council dedicated to citizen diplomacy, or a chamber of commerce focused on promoting business ties with South America, you can find it here.

The Philadelphia City Fund
The Mayor’s Fund for Philadelphia supports programs and initiatives that improve the quality of lives for Philadelphians and align with one of the Mayor’s five strategic goals.
The Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz and Performing Arts
The Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz and Performing Arts (PCC) mission is to “celebrate and preserve the legacy of jazz through accessible education for the Greater Philadelphia region, and to support the evolving art form through talent development, programming, and public performance.” The Philadelphia Clef Club operates in four distinct lines of business: music education, performance events, a membership program and facility rentals.
The Philadelphia Foundation
The Philadelphia Foundation has been committed to improving the quality of life in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties for 90 years, through funds established by the donors. As a public charity community foundation, they manage more than 800 charitable funds, maximizing the strategic impact of charitable contributions.
The Philadelphia Orchestra
Renowned for its distinctive sound, desired for its keen ability to capture the hearts and imaginations of audiences, and admired for an unrivaled legacy of “firsts” in music-making, The Philadelphia Orchestra remains one of the preeminent orchestras in the world. While wholly committed to the exploration of classical music and repertoire, the Orchestra also continues to develop compelling programs that resonate with contemporary audiences. The Philadelphia Orchestra is focused on the future while inspired by a rich tradition of achievement and seeks to not simply sustain the highest level of artistic quality, but to challenge—and exceed—that level by creating a powerful musical experience for audiences around the world.
The Print Center
The Print Center, a nonprofit gallery located in Philadelphia’s historic Rittenhouse Square neighborhood, encourages the growth and understanding of photography and printmaking as vital contemporary arts through exhibitions, publications and educational programs.
The Regenerative NEXUS
It is estimated that there are now between 250,000 and 500,000* environmental and social justice organizations throughout the world today. While this organizational explosion is an encouraging indication that there is demand for justice, consumer awareness is increasing, and responsible business is profitable, the emerging (r)evolution comes with a great deal of redundancy, confusion, and unnecessary competition.

The Wilma Theater creates living, adventurous art. We engage artists and audiences in imaginative reflection on the complexities of contemporary life. We present bold, original, well-crafted productions that represent a range of voices, viewpoints, and styles.  
The Wistar Institute
Founded in 1892, The Wistar Institute is the nation’s first independent institution devoted to biomedical research and training. Wistar is an international leader in early-stage discovery science in the areas of cancer, immunology, and infectious disease. Its transformative research innovations led to the development of vaccines for rabies, rubella, and rotavirus, and the identification of genes associated with breast, lung, and prostate cancer.
The Women's Coalition for Empowerment Inc.
The Women’s Coalition for Empowerment, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to educating, uniting and empowering women through the use of initiatives that promote self-sufficiency, multiculturalism, self-esteem, individual and collective growth. We provide our members with a social networking platform to meet, interact, learn and engage. “We will use our voices to change the world!”
Thomas Jefferson University and Hospitals
Jefferson University Hospitals and Thomas Jefferson University are partners in providing excellent clinical and compassionate care for their patients in the Philadelphia region, educating the health professionals of tomorrow in a variety of disciplines and discovering new knowledge that will define the future of clinical care.
United Nations Association of Greater Philadelphia (UNA-GP)
The UNA-GP rallies support for the principles and vital work of the United Nations by educating, inspiring and mobilizing Philadelphia residents and political leaders. We seek to establish a citizenry that is cosmopolitan in thinking, universal in action and will celebrate the local diversity of tongues, fashions, cultural expressions and inter-ethnic explorations.
University City Science Center
Founded in 1963, the University City Science Center is the oldest and largest urban research park in the United States. We support technology commercialization and technology-based economic development on our campus and in the Greater Philadelphia region. Our 31 nonprofit shareholders include many of the distinguished colleges, universities, hospitals, and research institutions located throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.
University of Pennsylvania
At the University of Pennsylvania, you'll find a historic, Ivy League school with highly selective admissions and a history of innovation in interdisciplinary education and scholarship. You'll also find a picturesque campus amidst a dynamic city and a world-class research institution.
Villanova University
Villanova University is a Roman Catholic institution of higher learning founded by the Order of Saint Augustine in 1842. Villanova provides a comprehensive education rooted in the liberal arts; a shared commitment to the Augustinian ideals of truth, unity and love; and a community dedicated to service to others.
Villanova University Center for Global Leadership
The Center for Global Leadership (CGL) is dedicated to promoting cross-cultural awareness, ethical international business relationships, and responsible global leadership. We pursue these objectives through educational programs, research, and service and outreach activities.
Villanova University School of Law
Villanova University School of Law is the law school of Villanova University, the oldest and largest Catholic University in Pennsylvania. Villanova was founded 150 years ago by the Augustinians, a prominent Roman Catholic teaching order. The University is located 25 minutes from Center City Philadelphia in the Main Line suburb of Villanova.

Wagner Free Institute of Science
The Wagner Free Institute of Science began in 1855 as one of the earliest free adult science education programs in the United States. From the beginning it has combined public access to natural history and science materials with lively educational programs taught by acknowledged scholars. That agenda has altered little over time except to incorporate new fields of science and new theories of older disciplines. Today, the Institute offers a wide range of educational opportunities for people of all ages.
