Phila.Gov Is Now Available in Spanish and Chinese

The City of Philadelphia is excited to announce Phila.Gov is now available in Spanish and Chinese. The Translation Services Expansion project was made possible through the City’s Operation Transformation Fund and is led by the Office of Immigrant Affairs (OIA) and the Office of Innovation and Technology (OIT).

The project allowed for a total revision of the phila.gov translation process. The team worked with linguists from a translation vendor to create a glossary and translate the website using a combination of sophisticated tools and resident feedback. This project also funded a Translation Services Coordinator position at the City and an extensive community engagement process.
