https://brynmawrfilm.org/ Special pre-release screening! Still reeling from its recent revolution, Tunis is roiled by a string of self-immolations, drawing two detectives into an increasingly ominous investigation with the soul of the city on the line. Recalling the work of David Fincher and Kiyoshi Kurosawa, this stylish existential procedural builds toward an unforgettable climax, given new urgency by Tunisia’s current political turmoil.
Co-presented with Bryn Mawr Film Institute, this screening will be followed by a remote Q&A with Director Youssef Chebbi.
