Tune in Thursday, August 4th on Facebook Live to join Chief Astronomer, Derrick Pitts, as he takes you on a night sky tour at home.
From The Franklin Institute’s Facebook channel, amateur astronomers will be able to explore the stars from the comfort of their own home without the need for equipment.
Tune in to learn and get your questions answered, such as how do I recognize a planet? How can I spot the International Space Station? How does the sky move? What type of stars can I see? How do I begin looking for constellations? You will be able to ask Derrick Pitts all of these questions and more during the live session.
