Join the crowd to hear a commemorative reading of the Declaration of Independence by a park ranger portraying Colonel John Nixon. Snag a free copy of the Declaration of Independence and cheer or jeer as colonists did on July 8, 1776, when Colonel Nixon first read the document publicly in the State House yard (now Independence Square).
