Reda Taleb will be reading her new book, "Noura's Extraordinary Superpower! A Book For Youth With Incarcerated Loved Ones And How to Activate The Innate Superpower of Empathy Healing" at the Al-Bustan Hub on January 28 at 1PM. Register for the event here!
"Meet Noura! She’s a curious, imaginative, and creative girl who loves birds, painting, and gardening with her Mama. After school one day, Noura learns of her Baba’s incarceration. She is shocked, confused, sad, and misses him. But with the help of her teacher and Mama, she discovers her superpower - EMPATHY! Join Noura, on her journey of discovering and activating her superpower of Empathy, to help her heal, forgive, and remain very close to her father while they are separated.
This book is for children in grades K - 5th (5 yrs old - 11 yrs old), however, older youth may also benefit from the book's topic and content."
