Teacher PD: The United States in Afghanistan

Wednesday, June 3, 2020 - 4:00pm - 5:00pm This one-hour webinar will explore the Choices curriculum unit The United States in Afghanistan. It will introduce secondary teachers to the student readings, the lessons, and the videos found in the unit, and provide suggestions for implementing the curriculum in a variety of courses. There will be time during the webinar for questions and suggestions for additional resources on Afghanistan.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
Participants who attend the webinar and complete a short implementation plan will be provided with the unit in either the print format or a two-year Digital Editions license format. Register by June 1.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This webinar is appropriate for middle and high school history, social studies, and humanities teachers, including AP and IB educators.
