To celebrate the "Who We Are / Quienes Somos" photography exhibition, organizers and participants of photography outreach programs from around Philadelphia will convene at The Lightroom Gallery to discuss their respective projects and the importance of photography in developing life skills and buildilng cultural understanding in youth.
Panelists include:
- Sarah Stolfa -- Philadelphia Photo Arts Center
- Lindsay Sparagana -- University of the Arts and the Goodlands Project
- Robert Morrison -- The Project Group
"Quienes Somos" is an exhibition of photographs taken by students in Photography Without Borders, a Philadelphia program that aims to build bridges among youth in communities around the world. "Quienes Somos" features photographs taken through a pen-pal exchange between students from Stetson Shuttberbugs in North Philadelphia and Grupo Flormorado in La Florida, Colombia.
