The American Swedish  Historical Museum is hosting language classes this fall!

Join the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce Philadelphia, NACC-Philadelphia and EACCI on May 18th to learn about Scandinavian drinking traditions.
 
The event features a presentation from Dean Browne, the business owner and creator of Rowhouse Spirits, a distillery that specializes in Aquavit. Afterwards there will be a viewing of the American-Swedish Historical Museum's Skål exhibition, followed by networking over Swedish appetizers and refreshments.

Swedes and Native Americans have had a friendly relationship throughout the years, something that should be celebrated and cherished.

On Saturday, March 16, 2013, the American Swedish Historical Museum will celebrate Waffle Day with some freshly baked Swedish waffles served with whipped cream, strawberry jam and, of course, coffee. 

In the 12 year tradition of highlighting research on the Swedish colonial era in the Delaware Valley, this year's New Sweden History Conference focuses on the Forest Finns, and will take place at the American Swedish Historical Museum in Philadelphia, November 3 starting at 9 a.m.
