Guided Search: Legislation, Residents/Citizens of Other Countries

Every year, military airstrikes in conflict zones like Iraq, Syria, and Libya result in thousands of civilian deaths and displacement. To shed light on the impact that civilians face in these conflict zones, the Council is hosting a discussion with the Director of Airwars, a non-profit transparency organization working to track, assess, and archive military actions and related civilian harm claims in conflict zones.

Judith Bernstein-Baker retired from her position as HIAS Pennsylvania Executive Director in October 2016 after 18 years of passionate work. She now teaches Immigration Law at Philadelphia Community College and works pro bono for immigration and asylum clients in the Delaware Valley. Join Amnesty International Philadelphia for an evening conversation. This event is free.
