The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), founded in 1929, is the oldest and most widely respected Hispanic civil rights organization in the United States of America. On May 20, the University City Science Center (3711 Market St.) hosted David Good for a presentation in their "Lunch for Hungry Minds" series. Good is a student at East Stroudsburg University whose father, an anthropologist, met his mother while researching her indigenous village in the Amazon.
