The excursion begins at Schuylkill Banks and ends at Independence Seaport Museum's boat basin. 

The challenge course offers spectacular views of the city, while traveling almost 15 miles along both rivers. The Walnut2Walnut River Challenge is suitable for experienced paddlers looking for a new way to get in touch with Philadelphia’s waterways.

Join World Heritage historian Sarah Sharp for a two-hour tour of buildings around Independence Hall to talk about Philadelphia’s status as a World Heritage City! Learn about what this distinction means in our past and our present as Philadelphians. Children and adults welcomed.

We’ll meet at the World Heritage plaque outside the east-side of Independence Hall, walk around Independence National Historical Park and conclude at the Bourse for snacks and conversation.

Hillary Rodham Clinton and her daughter, Chelsea Clinton, join the National Constitution Center as they unveil their new book, The Book of Gutsy Women: Favorite Stories of Courage and Resilience. The Clintons will share the stories of the women who have inspired them throughout history and around the globe.

Admission includes a copy of The Book of Gutsy Women. 1787 Society Members receive one complimentary book per household. Additional copies of the book will be available for sale onsite before and after the program. This event will not include a book signing.
