David Woods

David Woods has spent some three decades as a healthcare writer, editor, publisher, educator and communications consultant. He is the author of four books and more than one hundred articles, editorials and reviews in peer reviewed journals. He has served as publisher of Philadelphia Medicine for the past 10 years and is a former editor-in-chief of the Canadian Medical Association Journal. He is a Fellow of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia, as well as a member of the American Medical Writers Association and the Association of Healthcare Journalists. He also holds a doctorate in Health Policy from the University of Ulster in Northern Ireland.
