Kerri Kennedy

Kerri Kennedy serves as Associate General Secretary for International Programs. She has 15 years of experience managing international development programs with a focus on gender, governance, policy, and advocacy in disaster and post-conflict environments.
Her areas of expertise include women in security and politics, post-conflict environments, and disaster response.
Previously, Kerri served as Executive Director for Women's Campaign International, a nonprofit that develops women leaders in politics, entrepreneurship, and civil society.
Kerri has been interviewed by numerous radio, television, and print outlets. She created and produced a documentary Learning to Live with Freedom, with women ex-combatants, during her stint as a National Security Boren Fellow studying East Timor's post-conflict development
She was a Peace Corps volunteer in the Kingdom of Tonga and speaks Tongan and Tetum. She has worked in more than 40 countries.
