The Fairmount Park Conservancy believes in the power of open spaces and the importance of nature to urban communities.

The Fairmount Park Conservancy exists to champion all of the parks in Philadelphia. These efforts include capital projects, neighborhood park stewardship and programs throughout the 10,200 acres that include Fairmount Park and the over 100 neighborhood parks that are located throughout the city. We are passionate in our belief that open spaces and experiences provide residents of Philadelphia with the opportunity to gather, rejuvenate, play, exercise and explore.
OUR MISSION

The Fairmount Park Conservancy works as a collaborative partner to lead and support efforts which preserve and improve the Philadelphia parks and recreation system in order to enhance the quality of life and stimulate economic development of the Greater Philadelphia Region.

Through sustained leadership, significant investment, and strategic efforts, the Fairmount Park Conservancy will help position the Philadelphia parks and recreation system to become a world-class, preeminent park system, and a national model for urban revitalization, sustainability, and civic engagement.
