https://www.philadelphia250.us/ Philadelphia250 is the organization coordinating the United States’ 250th anniversary in Philadelphia.
We believe that 2026 is a galvanizing moment for our city and our country. We’re using that moment to ignite the passions of Philadelphians with the revolutionary spirit of the Declaration of Independence—to create a commemoration that is truly by the people, for the people. In 2026 we invite the world to partake in a celebration of our diverse passions, interests, cultures and creativity.
Our goals include:
● A more just and equal Philadelphia where prosperity is shared by all
● A city that swells with a newfound sense of pride, ownership and engagement with the place we call home
● An opportunity to illuminate the untold histories of our diverse people and neighborhoods
● A city of firsts that bursts with new ideas to drive the change we seek
