Millions of Europeans live outside of the European Union and many more live outside of their country of origin within the EU. "European CItizens Abroad" is an international, non-partisan, and pro-EU political organization. "Europeans Abroad Vote 2014", their first initiative, aims at raising awareness of the EU Parliament Elections in 2014 and increasing participation of European citizens who do not live in their native country.

At age 11, Michael spent a year in Norway with his family. He attended a Norwegian school and began his immersion into Norwegian culture, mainly through the new sports introduced to him. He would not return for 16 years and through that and subsequent visits he developed an appreciation for the country, people and culture, although he is not of Norwegian descent. He is reunited with friends and gains new experiences.

In late February, Iran rejected an offer from the European Union to hold direct nuclear talks with the U.S.—part of the Biden administration’s goal to restore diplomatic relations and perhaps even revive the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, known in common parlance as the Iran Nuclear Deal. But, at the time, with no guarantee about U.S. sanctions relief, any hope for negotiations stalled.
