Their newly opened exhibit, Radically Marimekko, features colorful fabrics which were created from Finnish traditions and the contemporary art world. A tour of the room takes visitors through the company’s journey, from its start to its current standing as a fashion symbol.

Philadelphia is joining the ranks of cities spotlighted by Michelin, the French multinational known for travel and dining guides around the world. No, Philly’s restaurants aren’t going to be rated with the famed stars — at least not yet. But insiders say it could mean they’re getting closer to being considered. What we are getting now is the Michelin Green Guide, which is only produced for eight U.S. destinations so far.

On April 13, Global Philadelphia Association held its unveiling event for Sustainable Development Goal #3: Good Health and Well-being. Renowned local muralist David Guinn created the stunning mural displayed outside of Vybe Urgent Care on Market Street. Sponsored by Vybe, the mural showcases a garden corner with leafy plants and a white ladder, symbolizing the hope for improving the health of millions of people.

Minutes earlier, a class period had ended, and now chatter and footsteps filled the previously empty air. The lobby was at that moment also the location of the photo shoot of TUJ’s dean and president, Matthew J. Wilson, for this article. Students crossed in front and behind. It was not happening.
