The current large-scale light installations throughout the Longwood Gardens grounds generate nothing short of an enchanting experience, as if you are finding yourself in someone’s imagination come to life.

Formerly President of US Commerce at QVC and an extremely accomplished businesswoman, Devon, PA's Darlene Daggett now serves as Founder and Executive Director of Ikatu International, a private foundation implementing for-profit, market driven solutions to address youth employment challenges in Sub-Saharan Africa. Global Philadelphia Association sat down with Ms. Daggett to discuss how she translated her incredible successes in the private sector into achieving her goals as a social entrepreneur, as well as why she chose to focus on Sub-Saharan Africa and youth employment.
