The Philadelphia region is home to hundreds of non-profit organizations, civic and professional associations, and public agencies dedicated to connecting the region to the rest of the world and enhancing its international reputation.  

Whether it's an international development agency working on behalf of women's rights in Afghanistan or teaching sustainable agricultural techniques in Africa, an association of citizens organized in support of the goals of the United Nations, a chapter of the International Visitors Council dedicated to citizen diplomacy, or a chamber of commerce focused on promoting business ties with South America, you can find it here.

Moder Patshala is a nonprofit organization that provides after school tutoring and educational programming to support immigrant children and families. According to their website, they believe that a balanced education empowers, supports, and strengthens the community.
Founded in 1812, the Academy of Natural Sciences is America's oldest natural history museum and is a world leader in biodiversity and environmental research. For nearly 200 years, the Academy has carried out its mission to encourage and cultivate the sciences, exploring the remarkable diversity of our natural world and sharing these discoveries with the public through innovative exhibits, publications and educational programming.
The mission of the African-American Chamber of Commerce (AACC) of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware is to provide substantive support in advocating, developing, and promoting Black-owned businesses in both public and private sector forums. 
The African American Museum of Bucks County honors the rich legacy of the African American experience, inspiring pride in our heritage, and sharing information and stories about the diverse journey of our people and our shared ancestry. Our programs and exhibits explore the history and heritage of the diverse cultures of Bucks County and beyond. The African & Caribbean Business Council (ACBC), a Pennsylvania Non-Profit Corporation headquartered in Philadelphia, was founded in 2006 with the mission of promoting & preserving the business interests of African and Caribbean entrepreneurs in the Greater Philadelphia area while bridging the cultural divide between member countries and the larger community through education and the encouragement of mutual tolerance.
Aid for the Children of Liberia (ACL), 501(c) (3), established in 2006, is a charity organization, dedicated to promoting child development by providing an opportunity for war affected and vulnerable children to have access to primary education, health, food, clothes, books, and a caring environment where their confidence, sense of belonging, self esteem and hope for the future can be restored. 
The Albert M. Greenfield Intercultural Center is Penn's resource for enhancing student's intercultural knowledge, competency, and leadership through our programs, advising, and advocacy.
The Consulate General in NYC opened in 2011. In addition to consular services provided to Algerian nationals all over the 44 states covered by its jurisdiction, it supports the Algerian community and associations in the US.  Moreover, the Consulate General facilitates economic, education, and cultural exchanges between the USA and Algeria.
